Hill's wanted to grow their relationship with Petco by driving consumers to purchase Hills instore and Petco.com during the holiday season, allowing them to get incremental displays in store to drive sales. as well as provide a tiered offer to incentivize consumers to spend more on their products.
Snipp developed a purchase based tiered rewards program where consumers who buy $30 in Hills products got a $5 Reward, and consumers who buy $60 got a $15 Reward. Consumers could upload their receipts via the program microsite https://www.hillspetrewards.com, text HILLS to 811811, or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Snipp also collected opt in data and pet information to help Hills with their CRM acquisition strategy.
