Duracell was looking for ways to drive sales among consumers who need to use batteries to play video games. They wanted to leverage their gaming partnership with PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS.
Snipp developed a GWP program where consumers could purchase qualifying Duracell products from any retailer and submit a receipt at duracellpubg.com to earn up to 3 in-game rewards. The rewards were given out in a sequence, so to collect all 3 rewards, consumers needed to purchase 3 Duracell products.
Rewards included 3 codes that unlocked 3 Duracell boxes within the PUBG game. The boxes contained military shirt jacket, cap, skirt and boots.
