Shoma Mukharjee - Software Engineering Team Lead India , Bangalore
From QA to Campaign Commander
Shoma joined Snipp in June 2015 — and over nearly a decade, she’s worn multiple hats: QA Lead, Software Engineering Team Lead, and now Campaign Delivery Manager.
Based in Bangalore, her day-to-day involves aligning engineering and project management teams, overseeing campaign delivery, and fine-tuning internal processes.
“I’m no longer working as a QA directly, but I’m constantly helping improve how we work — whether it’s through backlog refinement meetings, automations, or team allocation.”
The shift from hands-on QA to cross-functional management has been energizing.
“I’m enjoying what I do now more than ever before”, she says.
Leadership That Lasts
Shoma’s style is calm, dependable, and quietly impactful — and the people she’s worked with haven’t forgotten.
“My proudest moment was when my previous team — after I moved into a new role — told me they wished I was still leading them. That meant everything to me. It was a quiet success.”
Her ability to build trust and lead with care is a throughline in her journey at Snipp.
Family, Food & Movement
Outside of work, Shoma is all about movement and balance — both personally and professionally. A mother of two, she makes sure her time is managed around what matters most.
“My family is very important to me. Managing my time well — making sure I’m present at work and at home — that’s a priority.”
She plays badminton or table tennis almost every day, and weekends are reserved for family adventures around Bangalore.
“There’s a zoo nearby that’s really clean and close to nature, so we go often. Last month, we visited the new aquarium and Snow City too — we try to keep things active and outdoors.”
And no matter how far she travels, one craving stays constant.
“There’s a strong attachment to Mumbai. I’m a total foodie, and Mumbai food is always on top. Especially vadapav — that’s what I miss the most.”
Wisdom Incoming
What keeps her showing up with dedication, year after year? Trust — and balance.
“My manager trusts me. My colleagues trust me. And that makes me want to do better every day. I’m appreciated for the work I do — and when there’s something to improve, I’m told. That balance is rare.”
Ten years in, Shoma’s journey at Snipp is a testament to quiet leadership, steady growth, and a commitment that speaks louder than any spotlight. Her presence has shaped teams, improved processes, and built trust across the board — leaving behind a legacy of respect, reliability, and real impact.
And if she had a message for anyone starting out?
“Be patient, Money isn’t everything. Don’t chase a salary – chase the learning”
