Situation: For their new mascara, Maybelline wanted to offer an added value for their consumers to incentivize them to purchase, while offering something unique for Walgreens to get a display in store. They were looking for a solution that would not require integration at POS, and would be scalable to other retailers.
Solution: With SnippCheck, we created a white label solution for Maybelline customers that purchase a Maybelline Pumped Up mascara and any Maybelline eyeliner at Walgreens gets a free song download. To participate, consumers text in PUMPEDUP to 811-811 to get instructions. The program will be rolling out for RiteAid and CVS soon.
