GWP and UGC Program to Drive Sales and Engagement for Kellanova

Kellanova Minecraft Promotion


Kellanova wanted to drive UGC engagement leveraging their association with Minecraft – celebrating their 15th Anniversary with 2 different campaigns: Firstly, a Buy Get program and secondly, a User Generated Content (UGC) contest.

Snipp built a single microsite to host both programs (via a widget on the clients website). For the Buy Get program, consumers submitted a valid purchase receipt to earn 350 Minecoins via a digital code. For the UGC contest, consumers submitted images of the playground they designed in Minecraft and wanted to bring to life. The best submissions make it to the finals of this contest, with one ultimate winner. The winning submission will actually be built in real-life by KABOOM!, with a $500k donation towards the build out from KellanovaAfter the UGCs are moderated, they are posted to a gallery on the microsite to showcase and spread inspiration. This promotion includes robust fraud prevention and bespoke widgets (for registration and reward processing), enhancing both data handling and the user experience.
