Growing Engagement, Loyalty and User-base for Illy

Illy wanted to brew up some real industry impact and develop a program that hit off some key objectives: tracking engagement, building loyalty, tracking new users, as well as creating an environment of sustainability for the benefit of all.

Snipp established a special sweepstakes program for Illy, where participants have a chance to win a trip to a coffee growing region to personally thank the coffee growers for their commitment to producing the highest quality sustainably grown coffee. The program offered consumers many ways to enter:

  • Visiting website to register
  • Using the following hashtags together on a Twitter or Instagram post: #Thanks4TheCoffee and #Sweepstakes
  • Texting the shortcode 811-811 with the keyword ILLY for registration instructions
  • Visiting an Illy Café at the New York Film Festival, where a dropbox was available to consumers to submit a physical entry
