Troubleshooter, Football Fanatic, and Lifesaving Diver
Ivan Nosić’s journey has been anything but conventional. Now based in Zagreb and leading as a Customer Success Manager for EMEA, he brings an incredible mix of grit, technical mastery, and emotional intelligence to Snipp.
But before Snipp, Ivan was on very different frontlines - as a professional footballer and lifeguard who’s literally saved lives.
Oh, and he also represented Croatia 20 times at the U16 level.
“I’ve been in situations where I had to perform CPR, where people didn’t make it,” he shares. “That shapes how you look at everything; work, stress, success.”
By day, Ivan is the go-to problem solver across tech, process, and client challenges -from cleaning datasets to sitting in on pre-sales meetings and building integrations from scratch.
“My favorite part of the job? Troubleshooting what 9 out of 10 people say is impossible,” he says. “Optimizing broken processes and making things better, that’s where I thrive.”
Outside of work, you’ll find him boxing, training, or taking his 7-year-old daughter to football matches, even sitting with the rowdiest ultras just to make it an adventure.
With nearly 20 years in IT and experience leading large-scale digital transformation projects, Ivan brings senior-level depth to every task.
He’s also built his own local RAG stack powered by nine open-source AI models. Why?
“I want to build a sustainable, offline engine. One that taps into real knowledge so that even without Google or ChatGPT, I have reliable answers,” he explains. “It’s about control, precision, and progress.”
Ivan’s proudest achievements? The people who follow him.
“In past roles, teammates who worked with me for 15 years followed me to new companies,” he says. “That trust - that’s the real win.”
What’s the hardest part? “Working with people who can’t accept they’re not the smartest person in the room,” he laughs. “But if you stay patient, you figure it out.”
If he could go back in time?
“Feel more, think less. The world isn’t rational, and trying to force logic into every outcome just doesn’t work. Emotion is fuel.”
And the best advice he’s ever received?
“If you reflect back and don’t think you were stupid five years ago… you’ve stopped growing.”
Ivan’s journey is a masterclass in evolution - professional, personal, and philosophical. He’s seen highs, faced loss, rebuilt systems, and shaped lives, including his daughter’s, who’s clearly the center of his universe.
“Right now, all I see is her. And I want to be better every day - for her and because of her.”
