When Brittney Kirby isn't keeping client programs moving, you'll likely find her in the water. Kayaking and swimming are two of her favorite ways to unwind and recharge.
Travel is another big part of her life. Brittney has visited more than 15 countries, with Peru currently holding the top spot. And she likes to keep something on the calendar to look forward to.
“I try to always have a trip planned.”
As a Senior Client Manager at Snipp, Brittney works closely with Sales and clients to develop scopes, kick off internal teams, and make sure everyone starts a program on the same page.
Once a program launches, she takes the reins again, overseeing everything from client services, drawings, and fulfillment to reporting and invoicing. If a client has a question about any of it, Brittney is usually the person to call.
With so many moving pieces, no two days are quite the same. And that's exactly what Brittney likes about her role.
“I enjoy problem solving and working with different clients and internal teams. It keeps things interesting.”
The collaboration at Snipp is another big part of what she enjoys. Working together, sharing knowledge, and figuring things out as a team are what make the work rewarding.
One of Brittney's proudest personal achievements is completing a sprint triathlon, an experience she enjoyed enough to start training for another.
Clearly, sitting still isn't really her thing. Between swimming, kayaking, travel, and training, Brittney has plenty of ways to keep moving.
One of her biggest challenges has been becoming comfortable with uncertainty. Her approach has been to focus on what she can control, stay adaptable, and take things one step at a time.
“Trust yourself. You don't need to have everything figured out to move forward.”
It's a lesson that applies just as easily to life as it does to managing client programs.
The best advice Brittney has received is one she clearly believes in.
“Progress is better than perfection. Done is often better than perfect.”
It's a useful philosophy for both work and life, especially when there is always another challenge, project, or adventure waiting around the corner.
When Brittney isn't travelling, training, or working with clients, she enjoys attending concerts and comedy shows, aiming to catch one every month or two. She's also started exploring national parks with her kids, adding another kind of adventure to the family calendar.
For Brittney, there's always something ahead to look forward to, whether it's a new destination, another race, a great show, or simply the next challenge.
And for now, Kauai 2027 is firmly on the calendar.
