Monster wanted to target college audiences with a Walmart exclusive promotion. Driving sales was a priority success metric.
Monster teamed up with Snipp to create a targeted sweepstakes promotion to drive student consumption. Consumers can buy any size multi-pack of Monster Beverages, snap a picture of their receipt, and are automatically entered to win one of 49 grand prizes of a Monster Beverage Fridge in addition to a year’s supply of Monster. 500 runners-up will win a $10 Walmart Gift Card as a reward. Submission is facilitated by text-in or email; to text in a picture of the receipt students send the keyword MONSTER to 811-811; to submit through email, they may send it to the address firstname.lastname@example.org.
