Schneiders wanted to reinforce their partnership with the Toronto Blue Jays to capitalize on start-of-season excitement and drive sales of hot dogs during the game. They also sought to increase overall basket spend on products and support the Blue Jays online shop by directing consumption back towards the digital store. Snipp created an e-commerce rewards promotion, offering consumers a $10 Blue Jays Shop gift code if they spend $10 or more on qualifying Schneiders products at any retailer in a single transaction and submitting their receipt to a Blue Jays & Schneiders branded microsite. This program is featured in both French and English to cater to the Canadian demographic. English speakers can submit their receipts to : www.10grandslam.ca, while French speakers can submit to www.grandslam10.ca. They can obtain microsite access by texting GRANDSLAM10 (French) and 10GRANDSLAM (English) to 811-811.
